StoryCorps and This I Believe Begin

We will be starting some interactive podcasts that will require you to do some interviews with family members and some reflection on your part, when we return. We will also be diving into some of the more advanced features of garageband and learning to record from the outside world using your guitar skills.

Poetry Slams Continue

Poetry Slams were introduced to the second class prior to break. Students are looking for images and will be receiving final approval for poems after break. Grades for posting back to school songs will be posted the Thursday that we return from break. You have done incredible work -- we will be diving into more of the technical parts of the program this next cycle.

Poetry Slam Introduced

The poetry slam project was introduced today -- the complete assignment is posted on moodle. Be sure that you review the parts and follow the saving guidelines.

Songs in Progress

Your songs sound AMAZING! Remember, you will NOT be graded on your singing ability when you record your song -- just that you have all the required elements. They include: at least four tracks, your voice must be one of them, an original track created by you, saved with the proper title, exported, and saved on the server. We will go over all the requirements before we switch the next time. The goal is to have the songs done before you had back to guitar.

If you have not completed the QUIA ASSIGNMENT you MUST see me tomorrow to get it done during guitar.
